TQS was commissioned to provide a managed service to the school which included the day-to-day management of the school network along with the de facto line management for IT personnel.
TQS’ Approach and Solution
TQS has set the one to five year strategic and budget plans and is currently planning the networking and IT requirements for a large new build within the school grounds.
TQS are also in charge of disaster recovery and procurement at this school. All purchasing follows the procurement policy that has been put in place. TQS was commissioned by the Senior Management team to upgrade the core Active Directory Servers and File Servers from Server 2008 R2 to Server 2012 R2. This was carried out during a summer holiday term and was completed, tested and went live within three weeks of the arrival of the hardware.
The Senior Management team were very impressed with this installation and as such, we were commissioned to also roll out a new web server during the following half term.
